Ninja looter: Saintfenix on Antonidas
Ninja looters, don't we all love 'em?
In low level dungeons (ie: RFK and below), ninja looting is often a case of misunderstanding by a new player. Folks who haven't had a "need or greed" box pop up before will make a logical leap that the "dice" is the right symbol to click on for rolling on something, but alas.... no, that's the "Need" button.
Eventually, everyone learns.
But, there are some who decide to abuse that Need vs Greed learning curve, especially in pick-up dungeon groups with complete strangers.
That's when something like this occurs and is posted to a Realms forum, outing a Ninja looter and often influencing his or her reputation on the realm with any "good" guilds:
i was doing Uldaman with 2 other of my guild (Forsaken Love), Throgg and Saintfenix where one of the drops was a piece of BoP blue item plate armor. only Throgg was a plate wearer, he picked greed still. yet saintfenix being a mage needed it. Then of course came the denial "oh whoops i though i picked greed". everyone is entitled to one mistake, so we let it pass.
After doing Archedas the main boss there was a chest... or more like all we saw is "saintfenix receives". which obviously was from a chest. when told to roll for those he denies there was a chest and that they're quest items. after persisting 4 times with "did you loot a chest?" he doesn't answer but offers to give me the items instead. A ninja looter, a liar and also tries to buy me out.
Later i give a trade channel mention of him, and no surprise other people have heard of him before. About 15 minutes after I informed an officer of Dark Souls guild he gets kicked from it.
